Breathwork & Cold Exposure Facilitator Certification in the Colorado Rockies

The Elevation training is a hands-on facilitator course, not a lecture series. Days start with theory on breath physiology, nervous system regulation, and stress response, then move into practical application. You'll observe experienced facilitators, practice techniques in small groups, and get detailed feedback on your teaching style.

Cold exposure is covered just as thoroughly. You'll learn the science of intentional cold immersion, including safety protocols, contraindications, and how to work with different populations. The training includes actual cold immersion sessions in the mountain environment, building your own resilience while learning to guide others.

The setting matters. Freebird Valley sits on 10 private acres at 9,500 feet, surrounded by forest and meadows. The home has a dedicated studio for learning, plus outdoor spaces for cold exposure work. Meals are home-cooked and served family style, keeping energy stable through long days of practice.

Lead facilitator Gillian Simpson has over a decade in the field, training under multiple internationally recognized methodologies. Jeremiah Davidson, a Colorado-licensed social worker and Breath and Cold Master Instructor, co-leads. Together they bring a blend of clinical knowledge and practical experience to the teaching.

The certification is internationally recognized, and graduates leave ready to start facilitating immediately. The program covers session design, group leadership, and how to work with diverse clients, so you're not just competent in the techniques but confident in holding space for others.
