Caribbean Wellness Escape with Daily Yoga at Coral Estate Luxury Resort, Curaçao

Days here follow your own plan rather than a fixed retreat timetable. The one scheduled element is Zen Yoga, held every Tuesday and Thursday. Beyond that, you can start the morning with breakfast at Karakter Beach — fresh croissants, yoghurt with fruit and muesli, or sandwiches are also available at the bakery bread&more from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. — then decide between the pool, the sea, or a hike.

The resort has a five-star PADI-certified diving school on site, with special dives for children and rental or sale of diving and snorkelling equipment. Curaçao's coast has over 40 dive sites and plenty of snorkelling spots. If you would rather stay dry, hiking and biking trails begin right at the resort, and Christoffel Park is a short drive away for a longer walk. Bicycle rental is available for a fee, as are guided hikes.

The 8 Experience Spa & Wellness Center covers about 500 sqm and includes a Sahara sauna, two Jacuzzis, a forest steam bath and an outdoor pool. Treatments include massages, beauty and facial treatments, hair care, manicures and pedicures, plus heat and cold therapies. Day entry costs around €46 (roughly £40 or $49). There is a juice and coffee bar on the lounge terrace.

Food is spread across four restaurants and bars. Karakter Beach serves breakfast from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., lunch until 5 p.m. and snacks until 6 p.m. Koraal Rooftop is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for cocktails and small dishes, and pizza&more serves pizza, pasta and salads from noon to 9 p.m. Guests on half board or full board can use the Dine Around concept to eat at all of them.

The resort is monitored by a security service 24/7. A deposit of USD 250 is required on arrival and refunded at departure. Dogs are not permitted. Hato International Airport (CUR) is about 18 km away, a 23-minute drive, and a round-trip transfer costs €108 per vehicle. The saltwater infinity pool has sea views and sun loungers; guests in Superior rooms also get an adults-only area with its own pool.
