Detox and Regeneration Wellness Retreat in the Loire Valley

The retreat is centered on a vegetable enzyme fast: you'll take 8–10 elixirs daily, chosen for specific needs like liver detox or gut regeneration, with full explanations at each point. Mornings begin with guided meditation and Qi Gong, afternoons are for rest and massage therapy, and evenings close with rituals or gentle walks. There are also masterclasses, individual coaching, a forest sound bath, a moon ritual, ecstatic dance, and a foraging workshop with a sensory walk in the château's grounds.

The host, Jo, is the founder of La Guérisseuse Verte, a holistic practitioner who blends therapeutic nutrition, herbal medicine, and intuitive massage. Her background in wine and natural viticulture gives her a unique sensitivity to the seasons and the body's quiet intelligence. Her retreats are sensory journeys, designed to be immersive and poetic, with a focus on gentle, embodied self-care.

The château itself is a restored 18th-century castle set in a 23-hectare estate of meadows, woods, and gardens, about 40 minutes from Angers and 1.5 hours from Paris by train. It has a natural swimming pool, a wellness area with steam room and jacuzzi, and spacious, elegant rooms that blend classical charm with modern comfort.
