NowHere sits on 185 acres of Hill Country landscape just outside Austin. The stays are tucked into the trees rather than arranged around a central complex, so you get space between you and the next guests. Cell service works if you need it, but nothing on the property pushes you towards a screen.
The private cabins are built for two, with a king bed, a wood-fired hot tub and enough room to properly disappear for a few days. The Lodge is the larger option, with a suspended hammock deck and a full kitchen, which suits a longer stay or a group that wants to cook for itself.
Every stay includes the same unplug toolkit: a lockbox to tuck devices into, a Yondr phone pouch, and a journal for whatever comes up while you are not scrolling. Board games, cards and books are stocked in the cabin, which matters more than it sounds once the sun goes down and there is no television to fall back on.
What you do with the time is up to you. Walk the acreage, sit in the outdoor tub, read on the deck, cook, sleep. The property is designed so that doing very little feels like the plan rather than a failure of one.
It is a short drive from Austin, which makes it workable as a weekend reset without a flight. Come for two nights or come for a week; the cabins do not run on a fixed programme, so your dates are your own.
