Koh Samui · 6 days · From EUR 495
The retreat runs for six days at Marga Yoga House on Koh Samui, in Surat Thani province, Thailand. It's designed for anyone feeling overwhelmed by constant connectivity who wants a structured way to slow down. Guests are asked to put phones and laptops aside for the duration; the programme replaces screen time with yoga, meditation, silence and time outdoors.
Mornings typically begin with yoga or pranayama, followed by breakfast and a block of intentional silence. Afternoons are kept loose — some days include a stand-up paddleboard excursion along the coast, others are left open for walking, reading or simply resting. A daily massage is included to help release physical tension built up from too much desk time and screen glare.
What makes this different from a standard yoga holiday is the emphasis on silence and the deliberate absence of a full activity schedule. There's no forcing of constant workshops or excursions; the pacing is unhurried on purpose so participants can actually feel the benefits of unplugging.
The retreat is led by the team at Marga Yoga, who also run a 6-day pranayama/breathwork teacher training and a 21-day 200-hour Hatha yoga teacher training on Koh Samui. That background means the yoga and breathwork sessions come from trained teachers rather than general wellness staff.
