Ecstatic Dance & Wellness Retreat in Devon's Nature

This retreat is designed to take you on a journey of self-discovery and release, using ecstatic dance as the primary modality. Ecstatic dance is a freeform, expressive movement practice that allows you to connect with your body, emotions, and spirit without judgment. Our experienced facilitators guide you through conscious dance journeys, Qi Gong, sound healing, and authentic relating workshops, creating a safe and supportive container for transformation.

The days at Embercombe are thoughtfully structured to balance activity with rest. Mornings begin with gentle Qi Gong to awaken the body, followed by group sharing circles and outdoor dance sessions in nature. Afternoons offer free time for reflection, cold water swimming in the onsite lake, or simply resting. Evenings culminate in powerful ecstatic dance journeys, cacao ceremonies, and sound healing sessions, leaving you feeling profoundly connected and alive.

Embercombe is a special place. It is an eco retreat center encompassing a beautiful and wild 50-acre valley, where you can reconnect with nature and your inner self. The land features mature oak woodlands, meadows with sheep, fruit orchards, gardens, and even a sacred well. It is a place to breathe, get clear on your purpose, and rediscover a sense of peace, making it the perfect setting for this transformative experience.
