Elemental Yin Yoga Teacher Training Retreat in Nicaragua

The Elemental Harmony training is a 50-hour Yin Yoga teacher certification spread over five days. Each day is dedicated to a different element, starting with earth and moving through water, fire, and air, with a fifth day for integration. The structure means you're constantly connecting the physical practice to a wider theme, which makes the learning feel more grounded.

Anthony Alcalde leads the training. He's a 500E-RYT certified teacher, also trained in AcroYoga and Thai massage, and has been teaching since 1998. The training covers the theory and history of Yin Yoga, the Chinese meridian system, anatomy and physiology, and how to teach with clear cues and effective props.

The property grows its own herbs and fruits, which you're welcome to pick, and the meals are made from fresh, mostly local ingredients.
