The retreat is built around the daily life of the Perseo XXI, a lovingly restored classic ketch. Each morning begins with the gentle rocking of the boat as you wake in your cabin, the sun streaming through the hatches. After a breakfast of fresh local produce, you set sail for the day's destination. The exact route is flexible, depending on the wind, weather, and your family's wishes. The typical week traces a loop from Palma out to the quiet coves of the east coast, up past Cala Ratjada and Capdepera, around the dramatic Formentor peninsula, and down the west coast past Sa Calobra and Deià before returning to Palma. Along the way, the water becomes your playground—swimming, stand-up paddleboarding, snorkeling, and trying your hand at fishing off the deck. Captain Ángel is happy to teach you the basics of sailing a classic ketch, from trimming the sails to reading the wind. In the evenings, Yolanda often leads conversations about family life, work-life balance, and the choices that shape how we live. She is a former veterinarian with a PhD who now describes herself as 'the veterinarian of the human being,' and she offers a gentle, inquisitive ear for anyone wanting to talk through the bigger questions. The retreat is limited to one family or small group at a time, so you get the undivided attention of the crew and a truly private experience.
