Forest Stillness: A Women's Yoga & Breathwork Weekend in Oregon

Forest Stillness: A Women's Yoga & Breathwork Weekend in Oregon

United States · 3 days · From USD 845

This retreat takes place in a mid-century cabin in the forest, just steps from the Sandy River. It's run by Vasilina Britikova, an international yoga teacher who has led retreats from Thailand to New York, and now hosts small women's gatherings in the Oregon woods. The structure is simple: two sessions of yoga and breathwork a day, three freshly cooked vegetarian meals, and plenty of open time to soak in the hot tub, nap in a hammock, or hike the nearby river trail.

What makes it different is the size. With only four guests, you're not a face in a crowd. Vasilina and her small team get to know you, adjust the practice to how you're feeling, and create a week(end) that feels more like a gathering of friends than a retreat schedule. There is no cell service, so you're genuinely offline, and the evenings include cacao or tea ceremonies and connection circles that are easy to opt into or out of.

The location is a big part of the draw. The cabin is secluded but not isolated—Rhododendron is about 75 minutes from Portland, so it's an easy drive for a weekend reset. The Sandy River is right there for a cold-water dip or a meditative walk along the bank. July brings long, golden days and cool evenings perfect for the fire pit.
