Home › Retreats › Fruit & Vegetable Diet Weight Loss Camp in Poland with Dr. Ewa Dabrowska
Poland · 7 days · From EUR 272
The day starts early with outdoor morning exercises led by a physiotherapist — this is a fixture of every day of the stay, held in the open air on the grounds. Nordic walking poles are available to borrow free of charge, and morning Nordic walking sessions form part of the programme. Two times a week there is a dedicated gymnastics class targeting the abdomen, buttocks and thighs. Beyond that, guests have use of a large recreation area with volleyball, football and badminton, a children's playground and a monitored car park.
Food is the centre of the programme. Full board is included — breakfast, lunch and dinner — plus tea available at meals, and a fruit buffet once during the stay. The diet is fruit-and-vegetable based and is described as health-oriented rather than simply restrictive: balanced meals designed to support normal body function. Guests who have intolerances to specific fruit and vegetable items have those ingredients eliminated from their meals. The price explicitly includes the fruit and vegetables themselves.
What separates this from a general detox or yoga retreat is the medical and educational component. Dr. med. Ewa Dabrowska supports the institute medically and holds individual consultations with guests. The lecture programme covers the fruit-and-vegetable diet as a healing fast, allergies and intolerances, the glycaemic index and why we overeat and eat poorly. There are also practical demonstrations of preparing healthy dishes, so guests can reproduce the meals at home. Guests receive a daily menu plan.
There are two diet tracks. The standard fruit-and-vegetable diet for adults is aimed at cleansing the body of toxins built up through poor nutrition, and doubles as education in proper nutrition, dietetics, and diabetic and atherosclerotic prevention. The raw version is stricter: only raw, unprocessed products, with strong alkalising and antioxidant properties, providing large amounts of vitamins, minerals and bioactive nutrients and activating enzymes. The separate cleansing programme promotes improved metabolism, better concentration and balance, free allergen sensitivity tests, and a dietitian consultation.
The setting is a purpose-built recreation site rather than a hotel spa — spacious grounds, sports pitches, open-air exercise space and all-day reception. Wi-Fi is available. It suits people who want structure, medical oversight and a genuinely restricted diet rather than a luxury reset, and who are willing to spend their leave doing lectures and morning exercise as well as resting.
