Kickboxing Boot Camp Holiday in the Valencian Countryside

Kickboxing Boot Camp Holiday in the Valencian Countryside

Valencia · 7 days · From GBP 700

Training runs six days a week in two blocks: 8:30am to 10:30am and 4:30pm to 6:30pm, Monday to Saturday. A typical session mixes skipping, bodyweight exercises, bag work, one-on-one pad work, drills with a partner, optional sparring, running in the countryside and caveman circuits. Paul watches how you move and adjusts the intensity and focus for each person, so the same session can serve someone throwing their first jab and someone sharpening combinations for competition.

On arrival you're shown to your room quickly, and the advice is to spend the first day relaxing around the pool, going for a walk or using the BBQ and sauna so you're ready to start the next morning. The camp is deliberately isolated, at the end of a two-mile dirt track, with no passing traffic and no reason to leave unless you want to. That seclusion is a big part of why people come.

Accommodation is simple but functional and connected to a family home. It's not a hotel, but guests describe the rooms as clean, quiet and equipped with everything needed to rest and recover. The food gets its own mentions in reviews: fresh, high-protein meals with vibrant salads and wholesome ingredients, and one guest called the salad one of the best they'd ever had.

What separates this from a bigger fight camp is the size and the attention. With a maximum of 12 people, Paul can give real one-to-one time on the pads and in drills, and there's a team spirit that comes from training, eating and recovering in the same small group all week. Guests have included complete beginners, experienced kickboxers and people using the camp to manage health conditions alongside the training. The common thread in the reviews is that the coaching is patient, knowledgeable and adapted to whoever is in front of him.
