Laurentians · 3 days · From EUR 320
The centre of the experience is the water. Calumet Falls uses naturally heated spring water for its baths, and the property's own waterfalls are the backdrop to the soaking pools and relaxation areas. A typical visit works through a hydrotherapy cycle — warm mineral bath, sauna, cold rinse, rest — repeated as many times as you like across the day. Mud rituals and bespoke massages are booked alongside the baths, and treatment rooms are set up for both individual and couples sessions.
Guided wellness programming runs on top of the spa. The events calendar includes guided meditation, sound healing sessions and yoga, held outdoors or in spaces as close to the falls and forest as the property allows. Some of this is scheduled for anyone staying on site; some is arranged privately. If you're bringing a group, the team will build the programme with you — yoga and meditation sessions, workshops, or a combination — using the on-site event spaces.
For overnight stays there are two quite different options. The Waterfalls Castle is a historic building kept as a luxury stay, and the Luxury Villa is a separate property oriented toward longer rest. Both are bookable for individual stays or taken over by groups. Rooms are set up for solo guests, couples and larger parties. Because the property is spread out and surrounded by wilderness, the nights are genuinely quiet — this is not a town-centre hotel with bars downstairs.
Food on site is deliberately low-key. The Station serves coffee, tea and fresh smoothies with a view of the falls rather than a full restaurant menu, so guests typically eat their main meals off-property or as arranged for group bookings. Day visitors and overnight guests both use it as the between-treatment stop.
The Laurentians location puts this about an hour and a half north of Montreal, in a region of lakes, forest and small ski towns like Saint-Sauveur, Mont-Tremblant and Sainte-Adèle. Winter visits are just as viable as summer ones — the cold plunge and hot bath contrast is arguably better in the snow.
