Luxury Wellness Retreat in the Gold Coast Hinterland at Eden Retreat

A stay at Eden Retreat is built around the Vitality Centre, which is where most of the science-led treatments happen. Cryotherapy, Infrared Sauna, ZeroBody Dry Float Therapy, AirPod Oxygen Chamber and Biologique Recherche skin treatments are all available on site. You book these alongside your accommodation rather than following a set retreat schedule, so the shape of your day is up to you.

Movement comes in the form of mat and reformer Pilates classes. Fiona has taught both at Eden for 15 years and is described as the resident expert. Beyond that, the property lists a range of relaxing experiences intended to promote health and healing during your stay, plus a full spa menu of massages and facials.

Food is a serious part of the offer. The menu is written by the retreat's chefs and nutritionists, and the spring menu leans on protein-rich meals, gut-friendly ingredients and produce picked straight from the garden. Meals are served plated rather than buffet-style, and the kitchen also produces the Maple Coconut granola sold through the boutique.

The setting is the Currumbin Valley in the Gold Coast hinterland. Suites look out over lush greenery, and the new Eden Treehouse sits among the treetops above the valley. It's a quiet, inland property — you're not walking to the beach, you're driving to it. The retreat also runs corporate stays and sells gift certificates redeemable against any of its stay options.
