Days follow the same shape. You're on the beach at 07:00 for around 90 minutes of yoga, breathwork and meditation as the sun comes up over the water. Between 08:30 and 11:30 you eat breakfast, swim, journal or sit by the pool. From 11:30 to 14:00 there's a workshop — each day covers something different, from lymphatic circulation and nervous system regulation to Ayurvedic eating and intuitive art. Lunch is vegetarian at 14:00, then free time. Afternoon slots from 15:30 to 19:00 are for one-to-one treatments (acupuncture, auriculotherapy, lymphatic massage, facial rejuvenation acupuncture — these cost extra). Evenings are left open.
What separates this from a standard yoga week is the medical framing. Dr Federica Boecklin has an MD from Sapienza University of Rome (1995), a clinical haematology specialisation (1999), a Faculty of Homeopathy membership (2002) and a TCM and acupuncture diploma from the AcuMedic Foundation and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. She teaches the workshop blocks and runs treatments. Andi has a decade of teaching experience and specialises in yoga therapy, mental health coaching and Ayurvedic lifestyle guidance. Before you arrive, you get an online homeopathy consultation with the doctor and an Ayurvedic counselling session.
The setting helps. The hotel sits in a lush garden with a central swimming pool, and the quiet beach directly outside is where the morning sessions happen. Golden Coast, the area's main sandy beach, is a five-minute walk along a promenade lined with cafes, taverns and playgrounds. Afternoon walks along the shore after treatments are part of the routine. The trip ends with a farewell meal at the seaside restaurant Kavouri.
Non-participating partners or friends can come along. While you're in sessions they have swimming, paddleboarding, hiking in the nearby hills, seaside restaurants and excursions to historical sites to fill the days. Paddleboards and a trampoline are on site — the trampoline is there deliberately, since bouncing opens and closes the lymphatic valves.
Getting there is straightforward: fly into Athens International Airport, and a taxi arranged by the resort drives you the 40 minutes to Nea Makri. Public transport is possible too — metro to Nomismatokopio, then the KTEL bus to Nea Makri, about an hour.
