Mallorca Kitesurf Camp

Balearic Islands · From USD 1695

Pollenca Bay on the northeast coast of Mallorca offers some of the most reliable conditions you could hope for when learning to kitesurf. The thermal winds here blow almost every day during summer, giving you consistent, dependable sessions on the water. Whether you are picking up a kite for the first time or you already know your way around the sport, this seven-day camp puts you right where you need to be, with a beachfront base and direct access to the bay.

The beginner course is built for those who have never kitesurfed before. Over nine hours of instruction spread across the week, you will work through the fundamentals with certified instructors, starting with equipment familiarisation and progressing through board control, kite handling and time on the water. The schedule allows for practice days between lessons, so you can consolidate each skill before moving on. If you are already an experienced kiter, the stay package lets you bring your own gear and make use of the location on your own terms, with rental equipment available on request if needed.

You will stay in a beach house with shared rooms offering sea views, kitchen facilities and direct access to the sand. The accommodation includes an equipment storage area, so your kit stays safe and dry between sessions. Check-in is from four in the afternoon, and check-out is by ten in the morning on your final day. Meals are not included, but the kitchen means you can prepare your own food, and local restaurants in Pollenca are nearby for evenings when you would rather eat out.

A typical day here follows the rhythm of the wind. Mornings and afternoons tend to bring the best conditions, so your lessons and practice sessions are timed around those windows. Outside of instruction, your time is your own. You might spend it on the beach, exploring the area or simply recovering before your next session. Kitesurfing asks a reasonable amount of you physically, involving swimming, board work and kite control, but the course is designed for newcomers and the pace can be adapted to your fitness level.

The beginner course package, priced at 1995 USD, includes seven nights at the beach house, the full nine-hour course, all kitesurfing equipment, certified instruction, beach access and equipment storage. The stay package at 1695 USD covers accommodation only, suited to experienced riders who have their own gear. Flights, meals, personal travel insurance and airport transfers are not included, so you will need to arrange your own transport from Palma de Mallorca airport and plan for food during your week. If you are a fitness enthusiast looking for a water sports adventure in reliable conditions, this camp is set up to get you out on the water and progressing day by day.
