Medical Longevity & Gut Health Retreat at Lake Altaussee

MAYRLIFE sits in Altaussee, a village of around 1,800 people in the Styrian part of the Salzkammergut, about an hour and a half from Salzburg. The resort is right on the lake, with mountains behind it. The building is modern, the atmosphere is calm, and the dress code is closer to a clinic than a hotel.

On arrival you meet a doctor who takes your history, then goes through diagnostics: blood work, intolerances, and whatever else your programme calls for. From there they write your therapy plan. That plan covers your meals, your treatments, and your daily routine, and it changes as the week goes on based on how you're responding.

The medical side uses both modern equipment and traditional naturopathy. Depending on your programme you might have infusions, manual therapies, colon hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, or targeted treatments like ultrasound screening. The Signature Programs (Classic, Optimal Weight, Active Detox, Stress Control, Anti-Inflammation, Longevity) run from 7 nights. The shorter Reset Programs (Anti-Inflammatory Reset by Dr. Barbara Sturm, Leader's Performance Plus, Weight Balance Reset, Health Potential Reset) are 4 nights and give you a faster, more focused reset.

What separates MAYRLIFE from a standard wellness hotel is that you don't choose from a spa menu — you get a medical plan. The doctors and therapists review your case daily.
