Home › Retreats › Muay Thai & Boxing Fitness Camp in Pattaya – All-Inclusive Martial Arts Training for Beginners
Thailand · 7 days · From EUR 550
A typical day starts early. Training runs in the morning and again in the afternoon, with a long break in the middle of the day when it's hottest. Sessions begin with a warm-up, then pad work or bag work, technical drills, and conditioning, finishing with a cool-down and stretching. Coaches – including Joel, Jay and Jonathan in the boxing gym – watch each person and correct technique as you go. Groups are small enough that the trainers can give individual tips, whether you've never thrown a punch or you've been training for years.
Between sessions you can swim in the pool, book the on-site masseuse for sore muscles, or walk the gardens. Meals are served in the kitchen whenever you're ready to eat, and the food is cooked fresh – Thai dishes, detox juices and smoothies, eggs, fruit, and proper espresso. Most guests eat together, which is how the place feels like a group of friends rather than a hotel.
Pattaya is a short ride away if you want to go into town, but the camp sits in its own green pocket away from the tourist strip, so you can focus on training. Weekend routines often include watching live Muay Thai at Stadium Max on Saturday evening followed by dinner together, and Sundays are free for the sauna or spa nearby, or just resting.
The accommodation is on-site, so you can walk from your room to the gym in a minute. Rooms range from standard to deluxe, all clean with hot water and comfortable beds; some have a small front deck with a table and chair. The kitchen team will accommodate dietary needs – one guest with an allergy had the whole menu changed for them.
What separates this camp from a gym holiday is the length people stay and how much progress they make. Guests regularly book three weeks to three months: in that time, reviews describe losing fat, gaining muscle, learning Muay Thai fundamentals, and improving fitness enough to notice the difference back home. It's structured, but it's also fun – trainers push you without making it miserable, and the community of guests keeps you going.
