The retreat takes place at Nalanda Retreat, a 3,000-square-meter beachfront property on Mandrem Beach, a quieter stretch of North Goa. The days follow a structure that builds from grounding to release, starting with practices that anchor you in your body and ending with letting go of old patterns. Each day has a theme, so the week feels progressive rather than a random string of classes.
Mornings start with yoga and meditation. Sunaina Rekhi, a mind-body yoga therapist and counsellor, leads daily yoga sessions tailored to your level. Gudiya leads the deeper work—breathwork, somatic practices, EFT tapping, and emotional integration exercises in the ocean-view shalas. There's a tech-free day to fully disconnect, and a long sound bath said to be deeply restorative. One evening includes kirtan and a beach fire.
The heart of the retreat is the floating water meditation, done on the final days. You're guided into the sea (or pool, depending on conditions) and supported in a state of deep relaxation. Old patterns and tensions are said to dissolve in the water, leaving you lighter and clearer.
Gudiya brings over 15 years of experience in clinical nutrition, transformational coaching, and mindfulness. She works from the view that what once helped you cope may now be keeping you stuck, and her approach is about creating safety and support so the body can soften. You also get a 1:1 session with her, a 1:1 Body Talk session with Saresh Dagur, a complimentary nutrition consultation, and a goodie bag worth over £200.
The price includes all meals, daily yoga and meditation, specialized workshops, group excursions, airport pickup and drop-off, and a €25 voucher toward a spa treatment. Flights, visa, travel insurance, and optional extra treatments are not included.
