What makes this retreat different is the total privacy—each guest suite comes with a secluded garden sanctuary where you can use the cedar Ofuro hot tub, cold plunge tub, fire pit, and hammock whenever you like, day or night.

The daily rhythm centers on thermal therapy. You can start your morning with a soak, take a cold plunge, then rest by the fire. There is a medical-grade full-spectrum infrared sauna in the same building as your room, available for private sessions of up to three hours. The sauna is crafted from Canadian basswood, assembled without glue, and finished with natural beeswax, keeping it toxin-free and safe for people with electrical sensitivities.

A true standout is the four-hour private session in the oceanfront wood-fired barrel sauna. It sits on a secluded sandy beach with views across the Lambert Channel to Hornby and Texada islands and the Coastal Range. You heat it yourself with a Harvia wood stove and dried firewood, then alternate between the sauna heat, a dip in the cold salt water or a rainhead shower, and rest by the fire.

All meals are organic, vegan, and gluten-free, with optional add-ons like local free-range eggs, island yogurt, and artisan sourdough if you want more flexibility.
