Off-Grid Yoga & Breathwork Mountain Escape in Spain

The retreat takes place at Casa Rico, an off-grid family home in the mountains above Finestrat, a traditional Spanish village under the Puig Campana peak. The property is intentionally simple: thick stone walls keep it cool in summer, a wood stove warms it in winter, and the outdoor shower is a guest favourite. Most sessions happen in a yurt or outside in nature.

Your days follow a gentle structure. Each morning, Flavie leads a yoga class designed to wake up the body and ground you in the day. After breakfast, Raymond guides breathwork sessions that help release stress and emotions. Some days, the breathwork happens at the house; other days, you might head into the mountains and make the session part of a hike. You don't need any experience — just a willingness to participate at your own level.

Afternoons are mostly free. You can join a guided mountain hike or e-bike tour, take a siesta, read in a hammock, or explore the quiet corners of the land. There are animals to care for and simple tasks to learn about. The coast is a 15–20 minute drive away if you want a swim in the Mediterranean.

Evenings bring everyone together for dinner, which is often a shared cooking experience. You might chop wood, cook over an open fire, or use the wood-fired oven. These dinners tend to become the heart of the retreat — a mix of conversation, laughter, and sometimes comfortable silence. The retreat ends with a closing ceremony to help integrate the experience before you head home.
