Olympic National Park Wilderness Yoga & Hiking Adventure

Olympic National Park Wilderness Yoga & Hiking Adventure

Europe · 7 days · From USD 1025

The Olympic National Park Yoga & Hiking Retreat is a carefully curated 7-day journey that takes you counterclockwise around the entire Olympic Peninsula, visiting the park's most spectacular locations. From the mountain views of Hurricane Ridge to the mystical Hoh Rainforest, from wild coastal beaches to natural hot springs, this retreat showcases the incredible diversity that makes Olympic National Park a UNESCO World Heritage Site and International Biosphere Reserve.

Your experience blends two nights of comfortable car camping with three nights of backcountry backpacking, where you'll leave crowds and vehicles behind to immerse yourself fully in wilderness solitude. Daily yoga sessions take place in stunning natural settings—on beaches at sunset, beside pristine rivers, in meadows surrounded by ancient trees—as well as in a proper yoga studio in Port Angeles. Meditation walks through old-growth forest introduce you to the Japanese practice of forest bathing, allowing you to absorb the healing energy (prana) of these ancient ecosystems.

The retreat philosophy centers on combining 'the inner with the outer'—the physical challenge of hiking with the mental clarity of meditation, the adventure of exploration with the peace of yoga practice, and the joy of community with moments of personal solitude. This balance has proven transformative for participants over the retreat's four successful years of operation.

All meals are lovingly prepared using healthy, organic ingredients tailored to your dietary needs. You'll soak in the natural mineral waters of Sol Duc Hot Springs, swim in crystal-clear lakes, and spend one luxurious night at a lakeside lodge after days in the backcountry. The experience culminates with morning yoga overlooking serene Lake Quinault, surrounded by the ancient Quinault Rainforest—home to Roosevelt Elk and some of the largest trees on Earth.

With a small group size of 6-12 participants and the intimate guidance of two experienced teachers, this retreat offers personalized attention and genuine connection. A pre-trip Zoom call ensures everyone feels prepared and confident, covering gear, logistics, and expectations to create a safe, supportive environment for all.
