Europe · 4 days · From USD 1379
The Rooted & Wild Yoga Retreat is a four-day, three-night experience set at Indigo Nature Retreat, a creek-side property just outside Asheville, North Carolina, at the edge of Pisgah National Forest. The retreat is designed for women who need a break from the pace of everyday life—a chance to step away from responsibilities and tune back into their bodies, their breath, and the natural world. With a maximum of twelve participants, the group stays small and intimate, and the schedule is built around a balance of movement, time outside, and deep rest.
Each day follows a rhythm that includes morning vinyasa yoga, guided meditation, and a hike through the Blue Ridge Mountains, with evenings easing into restorative practices like Yoga Nidra and sound baths. The yoga is suitable for all levels, and the instructors—Autumn and Toni—bring different strengths to the mat. Autumn's classes are a blend of Hatha and Vinyasa, with a lightness and a sense of humor, while Toni's training in Shamanic Therapeutic Yoga adds a deeper, energy-focused layer to her sessions.
The location is a big part of why this retreat works. The property sits along a rushing creek, and guests stay in cozy cabins just steps from the water. The sound of the creek is a constant, calming presence, and the fall colors are spectacular. The hiking is moderate, with a few miles and some elevation, and the routes are chosen based on the group's comfort level. This is a retreat for women who want to move, rest, and connect—not a bootcamp, and not a spa. It's a chance to feel strong, rested, and a little wild.
