Egypt · 8 days · From EUR 2750
This is a fifty-hour foundation course in somatic water therapy, held over eight days at the Neom Dahab Hotel in Dahab, Egypt. It's the first level of a modular professional pathway, so it's designed for people who want to build toward working professionally in aquatic bodywork. You'll spend roughly fifty hours between pool sessions and open-water practice in the Red Sea, with the curriculum weaving together somatic awareness, conscious movement, and breathwork. Each session builds on the last, so by the end you have a practical framework for facilitating somatic experiences in water.
The training combines pool-based work with open-water sessions along the Red Sea coast. That mix gives you hands-on practice in controlled conditions and then in the sea itself, where the water is warm and the shoreline is calm. Dahab is a well-known water-sports and wellness destination, so the environment supports this kind of slow, attentive work. The small-group format keeps the container intimate, meaning you get meaningful attention from the facilitators throughout.
Beyond the technical skills, the course includes time for personal integration. You'll be working with somatic awareness, breath, and movement, so the training is as much about your own felt sense of how the body responds in water as it is about learning to facilitate for others. The facilitators are confirmed before your stay, and you can ask who'll be guiding the retreat.
By the end of the eight days, you'll have a grounded entry point into aquatic bodywork and a clear sense of where the next module can take you. Whether you're a bodyworker, yoga teacher, therapist, or simply curious about movement and water, this foundation level gives you the practical framework to continue.
