Sound, Cacao & Embodiment Retreat in Rural Mallorca

The retreat is run by three facilitators who each lead a different piece of the week. Katharina is a breathwork facilitator who left a corporate career in Berlin after a decade-long struggle with Crohn's disease, and she leads the pranayama and breath sessions. Carlos worked as a sound engineer before discovering cacao in Guatemala in 2018; he now runs the cacao ceremonies and sound healing. Asia is a psychologist and 500-hour yoga teacher who founded a conscious community in Mallorca, and she guides the yoga and embodiment practices. The three of them create a programme that is about half structured practice and half free time for exploration.

A typical day starts with a cacao ceremony — high-quality, ethically sourced Guatemalan cacao — before moving into a yoga or embodiment session. After brunch, the group often heads out with Carlos to hidden spots like secret caves and quieter beaches that most visitors never find. Afternoons include sound baths and voice activation, with space to rest by the pool or wander the gardens. Evenings are for dinner, evening rituals, and on some nights a fire ceremony or closing circle.

Unlike a pure yoga retreat or a pure detox week, this one mixes spiritual practice with genuine local exploration. The group is small — up to eight people — which means the facilitators can adapt the schedule to what the participants need. Guests have described it as a reset from work stress and anxiety, with conversations and connection being as much a part of the experience as the formal sessions.
