Sun + Soul: A 5-Day Wellness and Movement Retreat on El Salvador's Pacific Coast

The retreat runs for five nights at Mizata Resort in Mizata Teotepeque, El Salvador, from 14 to 19 March 2026. The property sits on a beachfront stretch of the Pacific coast, about 1.5 hours from San Salvador International Airport (SAL). Roundtrip airport transfers on arrival and departure days are part of the package.

What you actually do across the five days: movement and wellness sessions at the resort, a 15-minute horseback ride, a hike to a waterfall, a beachfront dinner with a bonfire, and a Mayan blessing ceremony. Between scheduled activities you have access to the cold plunge, sauna and steam room, three pools, the oceanfront yoga shala, outdoor meditation spaces, the jungle gym and the surfboard quiver. The resort also has a spa offering massages and facials, a longevity clinic, a beachfront restaurant and bar, beach cabanas and hanging nets.

Accommodation is split across three room types. The Beachfront Bungalow sleeps one to three guests and has a premium king-sized bed, two day beds, one bathroom, a work desk and a private patio with beachfront views. The Jungle Bungalow is single occupancy with garden views, a premium king-sized bed, one bathroom, a work desk and a private patio. The Retreat Quad Suite sleeps four with four bunk beds, a living room, a balcony and one private bathroom.

Three healthy, locally sourced meals are served each day. The beachfront restaurant and bar is on site, and room service and concierge service are available. Alcohol is not included in the package.

All three room types for the March 2026 dates show as sold out on the listing, with the Retreat Quad Suite noted as having one spot left at one point. A waitlist is open for the 2027 retreat. A Black Friday promotion offered 00 per person off when booking an entire room for four guests, ending 1 December.

Attendees must be 18 or over. US citizens need a valid passport, and a tourist card must be purchased on arrival in El Salvador for 12 USD, valid for 90 to 180 days. The passport should be valid for at least six months beyond the intended stay.
