Thermal Wellness Week at Grand Resort Bad Ragaz

The Grand Resort Bad Ragaz is a large, established resort in eastern Switzerland, about an hour from Zurich. The thermal water is the centre of everything. At the Tamina Therme, you move between indoor and outdoor pools filled with 36.5 °C water, plus a sauna village. The resort also has a medical spa, Tamina Health, which offers check-ups and personalised programmes.

Accommodation is in rooms and suites across the resort. The style is classic five-star: comfortable beds, mountain views, and quiet. You are a short walk from the thermal baths, so you can go back and forth in a robe.

Food is a big part of the stay. There are several restaurants, from the Michelin-starred Memories by Sven Wassmer to the more casual Zollstube. Breakfast is a generous buffet. The resort also runs special events, like a Sunday buffet and festive menus over Christmas and New Year.

For activity, there is golf on two courses, hiking in the surrounding mountains, and the option to book personal training or yoga sessions through the spa. The emphasis is on gentle movement and recovery rather than intense exercise.
