A typical day starts early. Sunrise runs, mountain hikes or temple visits and alms giving are optional from 5:30 to 6:30. The main session runs 8:00 to 9:30 — Muay Thai, Western boxing or traditional sword training — with warm-ups of skipping, running and dynamic stretching, then pad work, bag work and partner drills. Some sessions happen outdoors by the Nan River. Breakfast and a protein smoothie follow at 9:30.
From 10:00 to 2:00 the time is yours: Thai massage (an extra cost), sauna, ice bath, the pool, or just resting. Yoga for mobility and flexibility runs 2:00 to 3:00, covering Hatha, Ashtanga and Yin depending on the day. CrossFit, sparring or functional fitness fills 3:30 to 5:00, and most sessions end with an optional 5–10 minute "Ab Blast" core workout. Dinner is 6:00 to 7:00, and evening meditation or a night market trip is optional after that.
The week has fixed outdoor fixtures. Tuesday morning is the River Run and Palace Training — a run along the river finishing with a Muay Thai session at a historic palace site. Friday morning is the Pagoda Mountain Challenge, a hike to a sacred temple with Muay Thai training along the way. The Red Buddha Run is a weekly run or walk up red stone steps and a mountain hike to a Chinese temple, continuing to an ancient pagoda dedicated to King Naresuan. Once a week the team takes guests to the local night markets.
You also learn the Wai Kroo / Ram Muay, the ceremonial dance performed before Muay Thai fights as a mark of respect to opponent and teacher. Muay Thai Boran, the traditional root of the art, is part of the programme, and optional clinching and sparring are available when the coaches judge you ready.
The camp is led by Kru Jay, who learned Muay Thai from the champion Samart Payakaroon, alongside a team of Thai trainers whose fighters have gone as far as Olympic level. Coaching is built around technique and steady progress rather than hard sparring, which is why beginners are welcome and why the atmosphere stays friendly.
Phitsanulok itself is the other half of the trip. Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat, with its golden Buddha, is the city's best-known temple, and the Saturday morning ceremony offers alms to monks at Wat Yai. The Nan River runs through town, and Phu Hin Rong Kla and Kaeng Chet Khwae national parks are within reach. Optional extras, subject to schedule and weather, include Thai cooking, meditation in natural surroundings and visits to waterfalls.
