Home › Retreats › Tibetan Dream Yoga & Wellness Escape in the Caribbean Jungle, Panama
Panama · 7 days · From USD 1982
The retreat is run by Jerimiah Molfese, a lucid-dreaming teacher with over 20 years of experience. He came to this work after recovering from a traumatic brain injury using visualization and lucid dreaming, and his teaching blends ancient Egyptian alchemy with modern neuroscience. He is on-site for the full week, leading the morning and evening sessions, the dream-sharing circles, and the weekly practices. Jessica, a therapist with a decade of bodywork experience, gives the massages.
The daily schedule keeps a steady tempo. Mornings begin with dream-sharing and a yoga class that incorporates sound healing. The day's teaching is built around a different chakra each day, moving from root to solar plexus, heart, throat, and then third eye and crown. You spend the daytime in class and practice sessions, learning the sleep and dream techniques you'll try that night. Evenings close with another yoga class and specific night practices to set up your dreaming. This layered approach – learning a technique, practicing it, then working with the results the next morning – means you're not just hearing about dream yoga, you're living it for seven days.
The surroundings are as much a part of the retreat as the teaching. The compound sits in the jungle at the water's edge, and the yoga deck is open to the air, so you look out over the Caribbean while you practice. Boat trips to nearby beaches and snorkel spots break up the week. The retreat is capped at 12–14 guests, keeping the group small enough that the teaching can respond to what's actually coming up for people.
Guests arrive by flying into Bocas del Toro (BOC) and are met at the airport, then taken by boat to Isla Solarte, which is about a 10–20 minute ride away. The site includes over-water lodges and jungle cabins, all with private baths, Wi-Fi, and breezes or ceiling fans instead of air conditioning. The price includes all meals, the massages, excursions, airport transfers, and digital resources to continue the practice after you go home.
