Train at a Championship Muay Thai Camp in Bangkok

Train at a Championship Muay Thai Camp in Bangkok

Thailand · 7 days · From EUR 300

Sitsongpeenong operates out of a purpose-built facility in Bangkok that functions as both a full-time professional fight camp and a training destination for visiting martial artists. The gym floor has multiple rings, heavy bags, and dedicated pad work areas where the day's sessions rotate between technique drills, conditioning, and live sparring.

The coaching approach is traditional Thai — lots of repetition, lots of pad rounds, trainers who demonstrate more than they explain. If you've trained Muay Thai elsewhere, expect adjustments to your stance, your kick mechanics, and your defensive habits. The trainers here have spent decades in the Bangkok stadium circuit and have strong opinions about how things should look. Language isn't usually a barrier; most instruction happens through demonstration and physical correction.

The gym's roster includes fighters who've held titles in GLORY, MAX Muay Thai, and the major Bangkok stadiums. Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong, a longtime GLORY lightweight champion, is the most recognizable name, but the camp consistently produces stadium-level fighters across weight classes. Training alongside them means you see what professional preparation actually looks like — the volume, the intensity, the rest protocols.

Bangkok itself is loud, hot, and chaotic, but the camp is set up so you can stay focused. Rooms are on site, meals can be arranged, and the surrounding area has everything you'd need without requiring long commutes. Most guests stay for one to four weeks, training twice daily and recovering in between. The schedule accommodates different goals — some people come to prepare for amateur fights, others just want to improve their skills and get in shape.
