Home › Retreats › Vegan Yoga & Island Magic Retreat in Ibiza
Balearic Islands · 8 days · From USD 1490
The retreat is built around a simple idea: give you space to reconnect with yourself, with the support of daily yoga and really good food. Mornings start with a flowing Vinyasa or classic Hatha class, around 90 minutes, and on three afternoons there's an extra 60-minute Yin or Restorative session. That works out to about 12 hours of yoga across the week, but nothing is compulsory—you're free to sit out a class if your body says no.
Katrin leads the sessions in German, in a group capped at 12 people. She's an RYT 500 teacher who spent 15 years traveling through Asia and Europe, and she adapts each practice to whoever is in the room. Beginners are welcome, but it helps if you've done a bit of yoga before and know the Sun Salutation, because the classes run at a steady pace.
Beyond the mat, the week is about enjoying Ibiza. The finca is just a few minutes from Cala Bassa, and a short walk from the Punta de Sa Pedrera viewpoint, famous for its sunsets. You might visit Es Vedrà, the mystical rock off the coast, browse a hippie market, or head to the legendary Café del Mar. Some excursions happen as a group; others you can arrange yourself.
Massages are available with an experienced therapist, including the Raindrop technique using essential oils (at an extra cost). There's also a private chef who turns out creative vegan meals daily, and the cooking workshop is a hands-on chance to learn a few tricks. On two evenings, dinner is your own to discover—Katrin is happy to recommend restaurants.
The finca itself, Casa Azul, is a stylish property with seven double rooms, a 16 by 10 meter pool (one of the biggest private pools on the island), and a large garden. It's a peaceful base, but close enough to the action when you want it.
