Weight Loss & Fitness Retreat at Wellbeing Spa, Marsa Alam

Weight Loss & Fitness Retreat at Wellbeing Spa, Marsa Alam

Egypt · 21 days

The programme runs on a weight-loss structure: supervised exercise, controlled meals and enough rest that you don't burn out. Training isn't designed to exhaust you — the centre says so directly. You'll work with both a medical specialist and a fitness trainer, and your plan gets adjusted as the programme goes.

Days tend to follow the same shape. A morning walk through the Royal Brayka Resort grounds, then breakfast, then a gym or fitness session with your trainer. Afternoons are lighter — massage, rest, or free time by the beach and pool. The heavier training is scheduled around the heat rather than through it.

What separates this from a standard resort fitness holiday is the supervision. Guests are assigned a trainer — one reviewer names Masha as hers — and the programme is overseen by Remon, who manages the spa and guides guests through their plan. That personal thread is mentioned in every guest review on the page.

Food is a working part of the programme, not an add-on. Meals are described as tasty and healthy, and guests who've repeated the programme — one has done it three times — name the combination of sport, food and location as what makes it work. Massages come up repeatedly too, and are part of what's on offer at the spa.

The four programme lengths exist for different situations. Fast Track is for people with 7–10 days and a willingness to make a quick start. Transform Royal (15 days) is aimed at people who want to change more than their weight. The 21-day Wellbeing Programme is built around habit formation. The Challenge programme is for guests who want something more experimental and tailored.

Location-wise, Marsa Alam sits on Egypt's Red Sea coast, well south of Hurghada. It's quieter than the northern resorts, with good diving and snorkelling offshore. The sea air and views are part of the pitch here, and guests consistently mention the resort setting as a reason they'd return.
