Wellness Yoga Escape in the Polish Countryside

Wellness Yoga Escape in the Polish Countryside

Poland · 7 days · From USD 795

The yoga here is led by Claire Dunniece, a Senior Yoga & Relaxation Teacher who has run these Poland retreats for a number of years. She tailors each retreat to whoever's in the room, so the classes work whether you've never done yoga or you've been practicing for a decade. Mornings usually involve a gentle hatha- and vinyasa-influenced session with breathwork, followed by a short period of silence and journaling. Afternoons might be restorative yoga with props, a yoga nidra session, or an asana clinic where you can ask about specific postures or technique.

What makes this one different from a lot of yoga retreats is that it's held at a proper Polish health resort — Uzdrowisko — rather than a converted villa. The kitchen team cooks vegetarian food, including Polish dishes done vegetarian, and they're used to handling vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free diets if you tell them ahead. There's an outdoor sauna and hot tub you can use, and the therapists on site offer treatments like Lomi Lomi Niu, Kobido face massage, myofascial release, and Tibetan bowl sound massage. Those are booked in advance and paid directly to the therapists.

The venue is about 85km from Gdańsk Airport, roughly an hour by road, and they organise group transfers so the cost gets split. It's also 15 minutes from Elbląg, and close to woods, lakes and villages if you want to explore on your own. A lot of guests add a night or two in Gdańsk at the start or end, and Sopot is worth a look if you have time. The mid-retreat day trip is usually to Frombork or Kadyny, plus a stop at the forest and beach.

Rooms are all en-suite, mostly shared twins or triples, with single beds and high-standard bathrooms. The first floor rooms often have balconies; the second floor is cheaper and has two bedrooms sharing two bathrooms plus a chill-out space, but you need to be okay with a steep, narrow staircase. Twin beds can be pushed together for couples.

The group is small and friendly — they call regulars 'The Prana Family,' and some guests have been coming for ten years. It's a relaxed atmosphere, and there's plenty of space for quiet time if you want it. The whole week runs from Monday 6 July to Monday 13 July 2026, with classes from Monday evening through to Sunday evening so arrivals and departures are flexible.
