The retreat is led by Kathy Jones Williams, a yoga therapist and sound healer who has been running retreats since 2012. She keeps the group size to just eight people, which makes the whole experience feel personal. The daily rhythm mixes adventure with rest: mornings might start with a dolphin swim, followed by a gentle yoga class focused on stretching and strengthening your lower back, and evenings can include sound baths or meditations. Kathy is known for creating a safe, non-competitive space, and she adapts the yoga to suit everyone, whether you're a beginner or advanced.

Bimini itself is part of the reason this trip works. It's a quiet, slow-paced island about 50 miles off the coast of Florida, with clear turquoise water and a laid-back vibe. The accommodation at Seacrest is rustic but comfortable, right near the beach. Between activities, you'll have time to relax at the property, explore the nearby restaurants, or just sit and watch the ocean. The week also includes a visit to the Stones of Atlantis, a snorkelling spot where you can see underwater rock formations, and an optional stingray excursion.

The swimming is the unforgettable part. You're out on a boat, and the crew watches for dolphins. When the dolphins are willing, you slip into the water with a snorkel and mask and wait for them to come to you. They swim close, make eye contact, and play – it's a completely natural interaction, with no touching, feeding, or chasing. The retreat emphasises that this is an eco-friendly activity and the dolphins are never forced to interact. You'll likely see more dolphins than people in the water, given the small group size.
