Women's Tantric Initiation Retreat in Kuşadası, Türkiye

The retreat runs for seven days and is built around a process Alinea describes as releasing outdated patterns, inherited identities and unconscious commitments. Sessions take place in a sacred circle of women at Alinea's Temple, a dedicated space on the third floor of a three-storey house in Kuşadası. The temple setting is deliberate — it is where the group connects with the energy of Tantra and works through the process together. The hotel is where you sleep and eat breakfast; the training happens elsewhere.

A core part of the week is the initiation into the Light of the Women of Ephesus, which Alinea frames as the female Christ light, in the lineage of Mary Magdalene and Mother Mary. There is also 8th chakra crystallization work, described as access to natural law and alignment with what Alinea calls the new feminine consciousness. Four days include yoga. One day is given over to a private bus excursion to the main archaeological sites connected with the energy of the work — Ephesus is Alinea's spiritual power place and she has lived in both Turkey and Greece in recent years.

Each participant also gets a one-to-one body feng shui session, a hands-on detox and energy release with a focus on kidney chi. Alinea works with group dynamics carefully so that women feel witnessed rather than left alone with what comes up. The programme is designed to bridge past experience with present awareness — not to bypass history, but to find a workable relationship with it.

Alinea Smaragda is based in Greece and leads several retreats in this part of Turkey, including a Five Initiations to the Path of Sacred Femininity week, an Inner Child retreat in Aydın, and an Essene Healer & Mystic retreat. Her work has two strands: embodied femininity and initiation paths for women, and a second line rooted in the feminine light of Christ, with practices such as the 7 Gates of Christ Light and the 7 Diamond Sources of the Divine Mother. She also works on reviving specific spiritual communities, including that of the Essenes.

Kuşadası itself sits on the Aegean coast, with the hotel across from the marina, bazaars and the old town within a couple of kilometres, and the beach a short walk away. The ancient city of Ephesus, the House of the Virgin Mary, the hillside village of Şirince and Dilek Peninsula National Park are all within reach for free time. The nearest airport is Izmir Adnan Menderes (ADB), about 60–90 minutes away by taxi or shuttle.
