Yoga & Pilates Fitness Week in Fuerteventura with Daily Classes and Plant-Based Meals

Yoga & Pilates Fitness Week in Fuerteventura with Daily Classes and Plant-Based Meals

Canary Islands · 7 days · From EUR 1200

Azulfit has been running these weeks in Fuerteventura for 18 years, and the format has clearly been refined over that time. You arrive to a set programme of movement and meals, with enough free time built in that you don't feel rushed. Mornings start with yoga or Pilates before breakfast; the middle of the day is yours — many guests walk down to the beach, read by the pool, or book a massage. Late afternoon brings a second class, often a different style from the morning session, and dinner is served in the evening. Sound baths run some evenings as an optional add-on.

The teaching is the part guests single out most often. Classes are pitched so that beginners and experienced practitioners can work side by side, with the instructors offering clear, safe direction and alternative difficulty levels. In smaller groups, guests report getting personal feedback during class. Reformer Pilates instruction is also available on site, which is unusual for a retreat at this price point and gives you a way to try equipment work if you've only done mat Pilates before.

The kitchen is fully vegetarian, leaning plant-based, and it's a big part of why people rebook. Even guests who normally eat meat say they don't miss it. Dietary requirements are handled carefully if you flag them in advance. Meals are homemade, generous, and nutritionally balanced — guests consistently describe the food as one of the best things about the week.

Accommodation is on site, with room options at different price points so you can choose based on your budget. Rooms are described as immaculate and spotlessly clean, and the wider property is well maintained. Facilities include a swimming pool, hot tub, and treatment rooms for on-site massage.

Fuerteventura itself is part of the appeal. The island's trade winds mean it stays comfortable even in high summer — one guest noted the August temperature was the same as London's, but far more pleasant thanks to the breeze — and there are excellent beaches nearby. It's one of the few places in Europe where you can holiday in August without overheating.

The atmosphere is social without being forced. Guests meet over meals and in classes, and many come solo. You can be as sociable or as private as you like. The staff — from teachers to kitchen team — are repeatedly described as kind, attentive, and committed to making the week work for each person.
