Home › Retreats › Yoga Sadhana and Nature Immersion Retreat in Portugal's Peneda-Gerês National Park
Portugal · 4 days · From USD 390
The retreat runs from check-in at 8:30 AM on day one to check-out at 7:00 PM on day four. Mornings start with a long yoga sadhana session in the wooden shala, often moving outside to the granite boulders and riverside spots that dot the forest. Manuel mixes classical Hatha and Vinyasa flows with partner work, prāṇāyāma, and kumbhaka breath retention. Afternoons might be a hike to a waterfall, a meditation session by the river, or some time in the hammock. Evenings end with dinner, sometimes a mantra circle, and at least one trip to the hot springs about 30 minutes away. "All meals are vegan and organic," with vegetables from the camp's own garden when the season allows. It's intimate — group size runs between 2 and 12 people — and built for those who want to seriously deepen a practice rather than check off a list of activities. The setting itself does a lot of the work: the camp sits inside the Peneda-Gerês National Park, surrounded by old-growth oak forest and streams that run clear enough to drink.
