10-Day 100-Hour Aerial Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India

Rishikesh · From INR 449

If you have been drawn to aerial yoga and want to learn how to teach it, this 10-day, 100-hour training at Ishavasyam Yoga School in Rishikesh offers a focused way in. No prior aerial experience is required, and the course is designed for beginner to intermediate practitioners, so you can join whether the hammock is entirely new to you or you already have some yoga background behind you. On completion you will receive a certificate, and if you already hold an RYT 200+ qualification, the course is YACEP-eligible.

At its heart, this is an immersion in aerial yoga and aerial flow using the hammock. That central practice is supported by Hatha, Ashtanga Vinyasa and Yin classes, along with daily pranayama, meditation and mantra, so you build your aerial skills gradually while deepening the wider foundations of your practice. The approach is steady rather than rushed, giving you time to grow more confident in the air and to understand how to guide others safely through the same work.

The setting is Tapovan, Rishikesh, in Uttarakhand, northern India. You will stay in a peaceful residential space surrounded by greenery, which gives a calm environment for rest and reflection across the nine nights of your stay. You can choose between a private room, a shared twin room, or a four-bed dormitory, with each room well furnished and comfortable; private rooms have ensuite bathrooms, and all rooms have Wi-Fi. A separate yoga hall sits just a short walk away, dedicated to classes and practices, so your learning space stays distinct from where you rest. The atmosphere is supportive and community-focused, with students often forming close bonds over the course.

A typical day blends practice, study and stillness. You will move through asana and aerial work, pranayama and meditation, teaching methodology and philosophy, alongside time to eat well and reflect. Meals are an integral part of the experience here, served three times a day with herbal teas and snacks in between. The food is sattvic and prepared according to Ayurvedic principles, with seasonal fruits and vegetables, whole grains, lentils and legumes, cooked with filtered water and organic ingredients where possible. Typical dishes include dal, rice, roti, vegetable curries and seasonal salads, and gluten-free and vegan options are available on request. A guided excursion and a complimentary sound bath healing session are also included to round out your time here.

Several packages are available to suit how you would like to stay. Course Only is 449 USD for tuition alone, with accommodation and meals not included. The 3-Sharing Dormitory for women is 549 USD and covers nine nights in a shared female dormitory with all meals, tuition and materials, though airport transfer is not included with this option. Twin Sharing with the same gender is 639 USD and Private Room is 719 USD, both for nine nights with all meals, tuition, materials, the excursion and airport transfers. Whichever you choose, you will have three sattvic meals a day, a course manual and a genuine grounding in teaching aerial yoga.
