100-Hour Meditation & Yoga Nidra Teacher Training in Goa

100-Hour Meditation & Yoga Nidra Teacher Training in Goa

India · 15 days · From EUR 770

The curriculum is built for certified teachers rather than beginners. You start with preparatory asanas, pranayama and kriyas, then move into meditation theory and guided practice. Philosophy sessions work through the Bhagavad Gita and yogic lifestyle principles. Energy anatomy covers the chakras and nadis, and separate sessions look at the science behind different meditation techniques, including benefits, contraindications and healthy movement patterns.

Mornings tend to be practice-heavy: pranayama and kriya work early, then a guided meditation, then breakfast. Mid-morning and afternoon blocks are theory, analytics and chanting or mantra instruction. Late afternoon returns to guided practice and, on practicum days, peer teaching rounds. Analytical training breaks each method down so you understand why it works, which makes it much easier to teach.

The practicum is the part most people find changes their teaching. You take turns leading, observing your peers, giving and receiving feedback, and assisting students during live sessions. By the end you have real classroom hours, not just notes.

What separates this from a general meditation course is that it assumes you already teach. The level is higher, the pace is faster, and the outcome is credits plus actual practicum hours. Dr. Keshava leads the training from Goa, where he is based.

Agonda itself is a laid-back beach village in South Goa - palm trees, a long quiet stretch of sand, and enough cafes and shops for the evenings without the crowds of the north. Most days you will be on site for training, with time around sessions to swim or walk the beach.
