Home › Retreats › 100-Hour Multi-Style Yoga Teacher Training in the Himalayan Foothills
India · 11 days · From USD 550
Mornings begin with asana practice on the school's yoga shala, looking out toward the Dhauladhar range. The daily schedule packs in pranayama, meditation, and philosophy classes alongside your physical practice, so it's not just about getting bendy. You'll study the Patanjali Yoga Sutras, learn the basics of anatomy and physiology, and work on the mechanics of alignment and adjustments. The teaching team is led by Alpesh Patwari, who has been practicing since childhood and teaching for decades, and supported by younger teachers like Shivansh and Roopam, who bring their own strengths in anatomy, philosophy, and pranayama. The location itself is part of the draw: Dharamkot is a quiet, spiritual village close to McLeod Ganj, the home of the Dalai Lama, and you're surrounded by forest and mountain trails for weekend hikes. Even though the training is demanding, the mood stays warm and practical. The school is small enough that you'll know everyone's name by day two, and the sattvic vegetarian meals give you something solid to come back to between sessions.
