100-Hour Yin Yoga & Restorative Teacher Training in Marrakech

The training covers all the fundamentals of Yin Yoga: its history, key figures, core principles, and over 35 Yin poses with variations, including upper body poses. You'll learn the eight-point analysis principle, how to sequence classes for each Daoist element, and the art of teaching. Therapeutic aspects get real attention — you'll study the concept of balance (Yin & Yang and Chi), Taoist elements theory, Oriental Medicine meridians, and the Three Treasures (Jing, Chi, and Shen). Acupressure points for each meridian and pose are taught, so you leave knowing how to use Yin as a healing tool.

Practical teaching skills are a big part of the program. You'll learn how to craft a class with intent, expression and context, how to use conscious touch, and how to manage a room. There's also anatomy — fascia theory, proprioception and interoception, compression vs. tension — and how all of it applies to movement and mobility. Mindfulness and meditation run through the whole training, with daily practices and sessions on neuroplasticity, visualization and breathwork.

The weeks feel intimate because the group is small. Between sessions there's plenty of time to wander the souks, visit the Yves Saint Laurent Museum, or sit on the riad's terrace. Daniela, your host, leads the training with a warm, down-to-earth style, and she's supported by guest speakers and a local team that handles tours and transfers. A portion of the proceeds goes to support 142 children in India — Simon Gill, who teaches philosophy online for the training, ensures this contribution personally.
