100-Hour Yoga Teacher Training and Wellness Immersion in Crete

Greece · 10 days · From USD 1690

This 100-hour intensive is a crash course in yoga that doesn't feel like a crash course. The daily schedule is demanding but varied: you'll start with kriyas and pranayama before sunrise, move into a long asana practice, then spend the late morning on alignment and theory. Afternoons cover philosophy, anatomy, and physiology, and evenings wind down with hatha, mantra, and chanting. The structure is built so that you're not just doing poses—you're learning why you do them, what the tradition says about them, and how they fit into a broader way of living.

What sets this training apart is the emphasis on Eastern practices. While many teacher trainings focus heavily on asana, Angelos brings in pranayama, kriyas, yoga nidra, and mantra as core parts of the curriculum, not just side notes. There are also guest speakers and an ayurvedic consultation included, which adds a layer of holistic learning that you don't always get on shorter courses. The group is kept small—between 6 and 12 people—so you get individual attention and a real sense of community.

The location is a big part of why people choose this course. Lentas is on the south coast of Crete, far from the tourist crowds, and the Levinthos center is right near the beach. The village has kept its traditional character, with rocky mountains behind it and the Libyan Sea in front. It's a place where you can focus on your practice without distractions, but also take a break to swim, hike, or sit at a café by the water. The climate is mild and dry, so even in November you can likely get in the sea.

The training is also a stepping stone. If you complete this 100 hours and decide you want to teach, you can extend your stay or return later to complete the remaining 100 hours and earn your 200-hour certification. That flexibility is useful if you're juggling work or other commitments but still want to work toward a teaching credential over time. Just know that the course itself is demanding—physically and mentally—so it's best suited to people who are ready to put in the effort.
