The retreat runs for 14 days at Pousada Rancho Fundo in Abrantes, about 14 km from Salvador's international airport and 4 km from Jauá Beach, at the start of the Linha Verde and the Costa dos Coqueiros coastline. The property is a small hotel with nine rooms set in a 5,000 m² park with hammocks, a pool and a sundeck. Rooms are single or double, and meals are prepared in the hotel kitchen.
The core of the programme is the Ayahuasca ceremonies, held at shaman Eduardo's integrative centre nearby. They take place outdoors and go on through the night. Each guest has a personal guardian assigned for the duration of the ceremony, and the following morning a light breakfast is served so you can discuss the experience with the shaman and your guardian. Before any of this, a medical intake form is reviewed; certain medical conditions or medications mean you cannot take part.
Yoga and meditation sessions are part of the included programme, and the team on site includes hosts, the shaman, massage therapists and yoga and Pilates teachers. Massage, Reiki, physiotherapy and acupuncture are available and billed separately.
The owner holds a state tour guide licence and helps guests plan time away from the property — the coconut beaches of Bahia, the city of Salvador, or the Chapada Diamantina region inland. Extra nights before or after the retreat and excursions are arranged and billed separately.
Compared with a fixed-date Ayahuasca retreat, this one is booked around your own window: you send your preferred dates and the leader confirms availability. Groups are kept small, which is what makes the personal-guardian arrangement workable.
