Thailand · 14 days · From EUR 930
A typical day starts at 07:00 with a run, followed by a Muay Thai and Western boxing session at 08:00 — or an alternative like CrossFit, hiking or swimming. Breakfast is at 09:00. From 10:30 you have free time, with sauna and ice bath access, and optional Thai massage or yoga for an extra fee. Lunch isn't included, so most guests eat at one of the local restaurants nearby. The afternoon session runs from 16:00, after a 15:30 warm-up of jogging, skipping or shadow boxing. Dinner is at 18:00, and evenings are free for the night market, meditation or just relaxing outdoors.
Training is led by Kru Jay and a team of Thai coaches who have worked with professional fighters up to Olympic level. Sessions cover pad work, bag work, partner drills and optional clinching, and they're adapted to your level — complete beginners train alongside more experienced guests. You'll also learn Wai Kru / Ram Muay, the ceremonial dance performed before fights, and try Muay Boran, Thailand's older battlefield martial art.
What sets this apart from other Muay Thai camps is the recovery setup and the location. Sauna and ice bath are available all day, every day, at no extra cost, and there's a fitness room and yoga room you can use anytime. The camp sits in Phitsanulok rather than a tourist hub like Phuket or Chiang Mai, so training often happens outdoors by the Nan River or up at temple sites. Weekly challenges include the Tuesday river run and palace training session, and the Friday Pagoda Mountain climb to a sacred temple.
Accommodation is in private rooms with air conditioning, hot showers, a fridge and Wi-Fi. The on-site rooms are the most convenient; the Cozy Resort bungalows are 10 minutes away with free bicycles, and the Imperial Hotel options come with a large swimming pool and gym plus a VIP shuttle. All options include daily shuttle transfers to and from the gym.
Food is home-style Thai cooking, with high-protein and fat-loss-friendly options. The menu rotates through dishes like pad Thai, green curry, stir-fries, sweet and sour, sticky rice, fruit plates, fried egg and salads. Vegetarian, vegan, raw and pescatarian diets are all catered for — half the staff eat plant-based, so you won't be stuck for protein. Water, tea and coffee are available throughout the day.
