14-Day Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh: Hatha, Ashtanga & Meditation

Rishikesh · 14 days · From USD 350

This is a 100-hour yoga teacher training spread over 14 days, and it's as much about building a foundation as it is about sweating through sun salutations. The daily structure is intense: wake-up at 5:30 AM, Hatha for 90 minutes, pranayama for an hour, then a break for breakfast before diving into anatomy, adjustment, and teaching methodology. Afternoons cover philosophy and then pick back up with an hour and a half of Ashtanga vinyasa, followed by meditation or yoga nidra. It's a full day, but the schedule has breathing room—tea breaks, long lunches, and a free day each week to explore Rishikesh.

What sets this training apart from a generic YouTube-certified course is the location and the depth of the teaching. The school is registered with Yoga Alliance USA, so your certificate is recognized globally, whether you're planning to teach in a studio or just want the credibility. The instructors are all certified and each brings a specialty: Raghav is your go-to for Iyengar-style alignment, Ajay spent six years teaching in Vietnam and knows how to handle a room, Yogini is the Ashtanga expert with an infectious laugh, and Ganesh makes anatomy and philosophy surprisingly engaging. You're not just learning poses—you're getting adjustments, learning how to cue, and understanding the why behind the practice.

The school itself is in a calm part of Rishikesh, close enough to the river that you can hear it from the yoga hall on quiet mornings. The community is small—typically between 6 and 20 students—so it's a tight-knit group. There's a strong emphasis on the spiritual side of yoga, with philosophy classes that go beyond the physical practice, and you'll find yourself drawn into the rhythm of ashram life. By the end, you'll have the tools to lead your own classes, and the confidence to do it.
