20-Day 200-Hour Multi-Style Yoga Teacher Training in Ubud, Bali

Indonesia · 20 days · From USD 1075

Mornings begin before the heat sets in. A typical day starts with pranayama or meditation, then moves into a two-hour asana class that rotates between Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin across the week. After breakfast the study sessions start — philosophy, anatomy, teaching methodology — and afternoons are given to alignment workshops, hands-on adjustments, and practice teaching in small groups. By week two you're sequencing your own classes and teaching your peers with feedback from the senior instructors.

The curriculum is broader than a single-style training: Hatha alignment, Ashtanga Flow, Yin, plus pranayama, bandhas, mudras, Yoga Nidra, chanting, and anatomy. A few sessions touch on Ayurveda and yogic lifestyle. The depth comes from the teaching team. Yogi Vishnu, the school's founder, holds master's degrees in yoga and Sanskrit; other teachers were raised in Rishikesh or trained for years in Himalayan ashrams, and one studied at the Hindu Dharma University in Bali. You're not getting one teacher's opinion — you're getting a faculty.

Ubud is the setting. The school sits among rice fields and tropical greenery, close enough to walk to the Monkey Forest or the Ubud Palace, but set back from the noise. Evenings often end with kirtan or a movie night in the common area. Because the schedule runs Monday to Saturday with Thursday afternoons and weekends partially free, there is room to actually live in the town rather than just train in it.

The training suits beginners through intermediates — no prior teaching experience is needed, though a regular practice helps. Graduates have gone on to teach internationally, but plenty of students join simply to live yoga fully for three weeks. Either way, the days are full and the structure holds you to the practice. Four past students rated the course five out of five, and reviews consistently mention the teaching quality and the food.
