200-Hour Multi-Style Yoga Teacher Training in Goa for Holistic Wellness

India · 21 days · From USD 779

The 200-hour multi-style yoga teacher training at this Arambol centre combines the structure of a traditional TTC with the warmth of a small, family-run retreat. The curriculum covers Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa in depth, drawing from classical texts like the Hatha Pradipika, but it also brings in modern anatomy and teaching methodology. You'll spend hours on the mat refining your asana alignment, but the program goes further — into pranayama, meditation, kriyas, and the philosophical underpinnings of yoga. The aim is to give you a complete toolkit, not just a sequence you can memorize.

The teaching team includes Rashmi, who specializes in therapeutic pranayama and Yoga Nidra, and Sofia, who focuses on alignment and somatic movement. They bring different strengths, and you'll benefit from both approaches. Classes are small — cap of 12 — so you get personal feedback on your practice and your teaching. You'll practice teaching in small groups, learn how to structure a class, and receive observation and feedback from the instructors.

The location is a big part of the experience. Arambol is a laid-back beach town in North Goa, and the centre is set back in the jungle, away from the main strip. The yoga shala is open-air, surrounded by greenery, and the accommodation is simple but comfortable, with A/C options. You're within walking distance of the beach, and the property has a garden, hammocks, and a quiet atmosphere that supports the intensive study. Meals are served three times a day, all vegetarian, designed to be light and cleansing rather than heavy.

The training is eligible for Yoga Alliance registration as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT®) upon completion, so if you're looking to teach professionally, this ticks that box. But the course doesn't assume you're already an advanced practitioner — it welcomes beginners and intermediate students too, as long as you're committed to the daily practice. The typical day runs from early morning to early evening, with breaks for meals and rest, and evenings are often optional — kirtan, movie night, or just free time.
