200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training on the Norfolk Coast, UK

Europe · 4 days · From USD 389

The training begins with a four-day residential at the Mill Farm Eco Barn in Winterton-on-Sea, a stunning converted barn with underfloor heating, a wood burner, and a real wow factor. Those four days give you a concentrated introduction to the course, with sessions from 10am to 5pm each day. You'll cover yoga practice, theory, and teaching technique, and have the chance to connect with your fellow trainees and with Lucy before the monthly weekend sessions start at Grove Farm Wellbeing.

From October through June, you'll meet on one Saturday and Sunday each month, with a break over Easter. Each weekend follows a clear structure: a yoga class first thing, then lectures and workshops on everything from anatomy to chakras, with lunch in between. The afternoons move into theory, teaching practice, and personal practice. You'll also learn how to bring yoga to different populations—prenatal and postnatal, children, teens, the elderly, and those with special needs—so you'll be equipped to teach a wide range of people.

An optional CPD short course is available for those who can't commit to the full 200 hours but still want professional development; this is accredited by the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine. If you do the full training, you'll be registered with Yoga Alliance Professionals upon completion, giving you a globally recognized credential. Lucy's background as a school teacher and her training in a range of therapies—from hypnotherapy to sound healing—adds a unique depth to the teaching.

The course also includes an Ayurvedic consultation, evening activities like kirtan and movie nights, and group excursions, so it feels more like a retreat than a standard teacher training. You'll have full access to Lucy's guidance between sessions, and by the end you'll have the tools to create your own yoga initiatives in your community. The setting in Norfolk, with its quiet beaches and the Broads on your doorstep, makes this a truly restorative way to train.
