21-Day 200-Hour Spiritual Yoga Teacher Training in the Sacred Valley, Peru

This program is not your average teacher training. While you'll cover the fundamentals of alignment, sequencing, and the art of teaching, the real heart of the course lies in the journey through the Peruvian Medicine Wheel. The curriculum is arranged in four cycles, each guided by the four cardinal directions, moving through release, understanding, growth, and empowerment. Teachers use ancient texts like the Yoga Sutras and Bhagavad Gita as a foundation, but weave them together with shamanic practices, cacao ceremonies, and energy healing work.

The days are long and full. You'll begin with sunrise meditation, followed by a 90-minute asana practice, and then a full schedule of workshops on anatomy, yogic philosophy, Ayurveda, and pranayama. Every fifth day is an off day, giving you time to integrate what you've learned, explore the surrounding nature, or simply rest. Evenings are dedicated to satsang—a gathering for kirtan chanting, meditation, or a sacred ceremony. You'll be asked to commit fully to the yogic lifestyle, which means a vegetarian diet, abstaining from alcohol and caffeine, and limiting technology use.

You'll learn to teach two asana sequences: the Sadhana Hatha flow, a slow, meditative practice, and the Sadhana Vinyasa flow, a more breath-synchronized and energetic sequence. The training emphasizes the mystical aspects of yoga, exploring the connection between the physical practice and the spiritual dimensions of life. By the end, you'll feel equipped not just to lead a class, but to bring this deeper understanding of yoga into your everyday life.
