30-Day 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in the Costa Rican Rainforest

The Abhyasa School of Yoga offers this 30-day training on the grounds of Samasati, a property perched on a mountain ridge overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The location is a protected biological reserve that has been preserved since 1996, offering a jungle setting with a waterfall, hiking trails, a pool, and a jacuzzi. The training is built on the framework of the four elements—earth, water, fire, and air—which grounds the practice in a holistic way of living. The curriculum covers alignment, sequencing, adjustments, anatomy, philosophy, trauma-informed teaching, and more, designed to give graduates the confidence to teach.
