300-Hour Multi-Style Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh

300-Hour Multi-Style Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh

Rishikesh · 28 days · From USD 560

The training is designed for those who've already done a 200-hour course and want to go further. Unlike many 300-hour programs that focus only on yang styles like Ashtanga, this one balances yin and yang, following the Hatha philosophy where 'ha' represents the sun and 'tha' the moon. You'll spend dedicated blocks on each of the four styles, not just sample them. A typical morning is 90 minutes of Ashtanga primary series, followed by a session on pranayama or detox techniques (kriyas like Jala Neti and Kapalabhati), then a Hatha alignment class. Afternoons cover yoga philosophy, anatomy, and then Aerial Yoga, where you learn around 70 postures in silk hammocks, from inversions to backbends. Evenings wind down with Yin Yoga flows targeting the spine, hips, and kidneys, and end with a Sattwic dinner. Sundays are for self-study and practice, a chance to rest and integrate the week.

The teaching team is the school's biggest asset. There are six specialist instructors, each bringing a different strength: Neeraj, an E-RYT 500 with 12 years of experience and a background in Vedantic philosophy, teaches Yin and anatomy; Sumit, who has a master's in yoga, focuses on Hatha and Aerial; Ravi, a doctoral candidate and E-RYT, leads the Ashtanga primary and secondary series; and Manisha, with 15 years of experience, covers philosophy and meditation. The school is family-run—Sneha and Neeraj live on the property with their children, and the atmosphere is personal. Guests often mention how supported they feel, and how the owners go out of their way to help. One recent trainee, a 64-year-old with a wrist injury, completed the full course thanks to the variations and adjustments offered.

Location matters here. Rishikesh is known as the yoga capital of the world, and the school is set in a quiet area away from the main tourist crowds, down a path that leads to the river. The property has a garden, a yoga shala with views of the forest and mountains, and simple, clean rooms. It's not luxury—you're here to train—but it's comfortable, with hot showers and free wifi. There's a cow on the property (guests have been known to adopt her mentally, and one even named her Buttercup), and the whole place feels rustic and grounding. The food is Ayurvedic and vegan, with meals served three times a day (except Sundays), and while it's nourishing, the intensity of the training means you might want to supplement with extra protein—you can buy fruits, nuts, and peanut butter from local sellers.
